HOW TO CONDUCT A SUCCESSFUL JOB SEARCH

 

Facilitator:  Martha Rockwell, A+ Resumes & Career Coaching, LLC, is a career coach with extensive experience in helping clients achieve their professional goals.  Martha has demonstrated the highest standards and qualifications within the resume writing industry and has earned the designation of Certified Professional Resume Writer.  Martha is working for the benefit of VOSJCC and Scottsdale Job Network in this effort to help both organizations and job seekers in the community. Program description:  There are 5 major areas of your search that Martha will address: personal criteria/work preferences, networking, target and research, and interview preparation. Understanding each area and how they work together is the key to success. Most job seekers finish their resume, post it on the Internet and wait.  That method is passive; usually the response is minimal to none.

 

In this workshop, Martha will explain each area of the process, its importance and how to actively fit each into a well-defined, understandable course of action. She will also discuss time management to schedule all the elements of your search.

 

Cost:  $10 for member of VOSJCC, $15 for general public (that includes SJN members).
