Formerly known as the Scottsdale Job Network, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of business leaders and volunteers, the recently renamed Southwest Job Network provides professionals with access to a powerful Valley-wide professional network, education on the job search process, technology tools and resources, and moral support during difficult times.
Founded in 2002 with just 19 members, by 2005 SJN had grown to more than 600 members, through word-of-mouth and the passionate support of devoted volunteers. SJN now serves more than 2,000 members. Of these, approximately 25% are SJN Alumni, Partners or Supporters.
SJN founder Christine Vicari continues to oversee day-to-day business operations as Executive Director and President. Like everyone associated with SJN, Chris volunteers her time.
