PROGRAMMING NOTICE
Starting in June, SJN will continue to offer bi-monthly meetings at Temple Chai on the first and third Tuesdays. Those meetings will focus on curriculum-related subjects and other skill development presentations, guest speakers from business and industry.
At the college venues: Glendale Community College, and Chandler-Gilbert or Mesa in the Southeast, GateWay in Phoenix–we will plan to host special events. These will be programs like panel discussions, social networking, alumni gatherings, employer nights. The schedule of those events is the main change. Rather than bi-monthly meetings, we will plan to host events monthly or every other month, perhaps rotating among the college campuses. The SJN website events calendar will contain the schedule.

Southwest Job Network (SJN) meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday mornings at Temple Chai, 4645 E. Marilyn Road, Phoenix, AZ 85032-4839.
First timers and new members are encouraged to join us at 8:00 A.M. for a half hour orientation.Volunteer professionals offer resume reviews from 8:30-9:30 A.M. which is also time for open networking.
Parking Guidelines for Events at Temple Chai
As visitors attend SJN meetings at Temple Chai, we need to be aware that there is very limited parking on the temple grounds. It is recommended that SJN event attendees plan to park on the streets: Marilyn or Acoma. The spaces available at the temple are on the Marilyn Road side of the complex. Any ”reserved” spots need to be left available for staff of Temple Chai. No parking spaces are available in the back of the complex.
When entering from Marilyn Road, approach the property from the eastern most driveway at the “Temple Chai Entrance” sign, and then exit onto Acoma. Follow painted arrows for traffic flow direction. Keep the speed low and watch for pedestrians, including school children, crossing the parking lot. Thank you!
